Job summary

Mirum Pharmaceuticals is seeking a field-based leader to serve as the AD of Strategic Engagements, focusing on cultivating relationships with KOLs and external experts to support the GEM Brands. This role emphasizes strategic credibility, compliant engagement, and alignment with brand strategy across Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Field Sales.

The position requires extensive experience in pharma with Genetics/Endocrinology KOLs, strong project management, and a track record of delivering

Qualifications

Minimum 6 years in pharmaceutical or related industry, mostly in a customer-facing capacity.
Minimum 3 years working with Genetics and/or Endocrinology KOLs preferred.
Minimum 2 years working in a cross-collaboration, matrix environment preferred.
Healthcare providers (genetic counselors, APPs) with 3–5 years in genetics/endocrinology may be considered.

Responsibilities

Develop and communicate the strategic vision and operational plan for engaging KOLs.
Develop and oversee development and execution of KOL Mapping KOLs plans.
Partner closely with the Director, Marketing for the GEM Brands at Mirum
Build and maintain compliant relationships with peers in Marketing, Market Access, Patient Services, and Medical Affairs.
Work closely with Field Sales on the execution of thought leader initiatives and programs.
Build mechanisms to collect insights, synthesize and communicate to brand to inform tactics.
Collaborate with Medical Leadership on engagement strategy and planning, including coordination of advisory boards.
Engage with KOLs to solicit feedback that shapes brand strategy.
