Job summary

Brilliant Earth is seeking an Associate Director, Merchandise Planning to lead our Inventory Planning function and the team behind it. This builder's role requires leading forecasting, open-to-buy, and inventory strategy across categories, while partnering with Technology to implement new tools and raise the analytical bar.

You'll drive planning that supports attribute-based assortments, maintain service levels, and deliver strong margins.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in merchandise or inventory planning

Responsibilities

• Own sales and inventory forecasts across all categories and functions
• Set inventory strategy for fine jewelry assortments
• Lead inventory planning for showroom launches and growth initiatives
• Own the OTB alignment and translate financial plans into actionable buying strategies
• Contribute to bookings, ASP, and margin budget-setting
• Create and drive the Inventory Planning roadmap
• Partner with Technology on planning system implementations
• Adapt planning tools to integrate with evolving enterprise systems
• Leverage AI tools to automate recurring analysis and reporting
• Manage, coach, and develop a growing planning team
• Mentor cross-functional Merchandising partners on forecasting and inventory principles
