Job summary

The ALS Association in Houston seeks an Associate Director of Development to generate $600,000+ annually through Walk to Defeat ALS, CEO Soak, Team Challenge, and other events across Dallas and Houston, with statewide support.

You will lead fundraising strategies, coach managers, build donor pipelines, and collaborate with marketing and community partners to advance the Association's mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; fundraising experience preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of fundraising and event production experience with revenue goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead revenue and fundraising strategies within defined portfolio.
• Assist with strategies to meet all fundraising goals for the territory.
• Coach Development Managers to meet fundraising goals.
• Cultivate and steward relationships for mid-level and major gifts.
• Provide volunteer support through meetings, calls, and events.
• Grow corporate partnerships and develop proposals and commitments.
• Develop fundraising plans with Team Captains and participants.
• Maintain donor portfolios and prospect new donors in Southwest territory.
• Recruit and retain event chairs and committee members.
