Job summary

Westport Properties is seeking an Associate Data Engineer to design and maintain data pipelines, manage databases, and support analytics initiatives. The role involves collaborating with IT, Operations, HR, and Marketing to ensure data quality and secure data workflows.

The ideal candidate has up to 2 years of experience in data analytics or data engineering, with SQL Server, Python, C#, and PowerShell familiarity, and a drive to build scalable data infrastructure while communicating effectively

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Math, or equivalent from an accredited college or university is required.
• Equivalent work experience, internships, or projects may be substituted for educational requirements.
• Internship or on-the-job experience in data analytics and/or data engineering is required.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize data infrastructure to meet department requirements
• Ensure data quality and integrity across various data sources and platforms
• Collaborate with different corporate platforms to integrate data systems
• AI/LLM usage, deployment, and environment curation for agentic solutions with data security considerations
• Regular worksite attendance in accordance with Company’s Attendance Policy is required for this position
• Perform special projects and duties as assigned; adapt to changing tasks and deadlines
