Job summary

Sazerac Company in Texas is seeking an Associate Category Manager to turn shopper and retailer data into strategies for Grocery and Military channels. You’ll partner with Sales to transform data into actionable recommendations that grow distribution, assortment, shelving, and category performance.

You will build dashboards, monitor trends, and collaborate with Category Managers to support customer strategies and execution across two key channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Analytics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Category Management, Shopper Insights, Retail Analytics, or Customer Strategy in CPG, beverage, or retail.
• Experience with syndicated data (Circana, Nielsen) and visualization tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau) with strong data storytelling.
• Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment with up to 10-15% travel.

Responsibilities

• Own the full process—from pulling and analyzing data to developing insights and recommendations for Grocery and Military growth.
• Identify opportunities across assortment, shelving, pricing, promotions, and merchandising using syndicated and retailer data.
• Build dashboards and analytical tools to equip Sales and Category teams for customer discussions.
• Monitor category performance, shopper trends, and competitive activity to uncover risks and opportunities.
• Partner with Category Managers and Sales to support customer strategies and execution across Grocery and Military accounts.
