Job summary
Sazerac Company is seeking an Associate Category Manager to turn data into strategic insights that drive Grocery and Military growth. You will partner with Sales and Category teams to translate shopper, retailer, and syndicated data into actionable recommendations that affect distribution and on-shelf performance.
Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in category management or related analytics, with experience using Circana or Nielsen data and visualization tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Analytics or related field.
- 3+ years in Category Management, Shopper Insights, Retail Analytics, or Customer Strategy in CPG/beverage/retail.
- Experience with syndicated data (Circana/Nielsen) and data visualization tools with strong storytelling.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end category management process from data to insights for Grocery and Military growth.
- Identify opportunities across assortment, shelving, pricing, promos, and merchandising using various data sources.
- Build dashboards and tools for Sales and Category teams to support customer discussions.
- Monitor category trends and competitive activity to uncover risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with Category Managers and Sales to support customer strategies and execution.
