Qualifications

• Underwrite new business cases and provide customer service to agents and underwriters.

Responsibilities

• Provide support with agents by telephone and email; obtain underwriting requirements.
• Update underwriting/workflow systems with status of policy requirements.
• Keep records of customer interactions and transactions; document inquiries and actions.
• Review forms for completeness and follow up for missing information.
• Set up and process exam-only and informal inquiry files.
• Obtain and verify authorizations and reports; order records as needed.
• Prepare reinstatement and exchange paperwork for underwriters; process term conversions.
• Issue annuity contracts and life policies with appropriate approvals.
• Review and process policy reissues; retire inactive cases and manage non-taken policies.
