Job summary

Stotler Hayes Group is seeking a Multi-State Barred Associate Attorney licensed in Texas with at least one other state bar. The role is fully remote with national scope, requiring alignment to U.S. time zones and occasional travel for hearings or firm events.

The attorney will independently manage cases, develop legal strategies, and maintain communications with Courts, agencies, clients, and opposing counsel. 3+ years of experience and dual-state licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of substantive legal experience.
• Active licensure in two or more listed states (TX plus others).
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a remote team.
• High level of organization, time management and accountability.
• Persistent, resourceful and proactive problem-solver.
• Confidence to own outcomes from start to finish.
• Ability to travel for in-person hearings, firm trainings and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage cases from intake through resolution.
• Develop and execute legal strategies based on factual investigation and legal analysis.
• Maintain substantive communications with courts, agencies, clients, financial institutions and opposing counsel.
• Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs and appeals; agreements and security instruments.
• Appear at hearings and trials as necessary.
