Base pay range

$165,000.00/yr - $235,000.00/yr

Our specialties include insurance coverage, general insurance defense, commercial litigation, and business litigation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze insurance policies, claims, and related documents to provide coverage opinions and advice.
• Draft coverage opinions, reservation of rights letters, and declination letters.
• Represent insurers in coverage litigation, including declaratory judgment actions and bad faith lawsuits.
• Attend depositions, court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Manage a diverse caseload with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality work standards.

Qualifications

• Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of California.
• 3–7 years of experience in insurance coverage law (first party and/or third-party).
• Strong knowledge of general liability, professional liability, D&O, and E&O policies is preferred.

• Bonus structure: Every 100 hours after 1750 hours (potential $10,000–$15,000 bonus) and an annual discretionary bonus.
