Responsibilities

• Analyze insurance policies and advise insurers on complex coverage issues
• Draft detailed coverage opinions
• Defend carriers in bad faith and declaratory relief actions
• Manage caseloads with support from experienced partners
• Handle depositions, discovery, strategy, and dispositive motions

Location & Compensation

• Offices in Los Angeles, with 100% remote work options
• Base salary up to $200,000 depending on experience
• Profit-sharing bonus: $145/hour on billables above 1,600 hours
• Discretionary bonuses, health, dental, and vision insurance
• Flexible work schedule with no micromanagement

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in insurance coverage and/or bad faith litigation defense
• Or 3+ years in general litigation defense with interest in this area
• Strong legal writing and analytical skills
