Jobot is seeking an Associate Attorney in San Bernardino, CA with 2+ years of civil litigation defense experience to join its team. The role offers remote or hybrid work and a salary range of $130,000–$190,000 with bonus eligibility and a full benefits package.

Ideal candidates will handle labor and employment matters or personal injury defense, manage cases through discovery, depositions, and motions, and possess strong research, writing, and advocacy skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of civil litigation defense experience.
• Active California State Bar admission.
• Experience in labor & employment law and/or personal injury defense strongly preferred.
• Experience handling cases through discovery and other stages of litigation.
• Deposition, motion practice, and courtroom experience preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
• Excellent communication and client-management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and competing priorities.
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in civil litigation defense through discovery and motions.
• Prepare and argue depositions, motions, and court appearances.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings.
