Job summary
La Rosa Law in Miami, FL seeks an experienced Associate Attorney to join its growing business litigation practice. You will manage a meaningful caseload with minimal supervision, draft pleadings, conduct discovery, attend hearings, and manage client communications.
The role is remote, with a standing weekly case-review meeting and no billable hour minimum. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, assertive, and ready to take initiative.
Qualifications
- Litigation experience is required.
- Strong legal writing and research ability.
- Ability to manage a meaningful caseload with minimal supervision.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
- Entrepreneurial and proactive mindset.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to La Rosa Law attorneys including drafting, review, research, and analysis.
- Assist with administrative tasks (calendaring, scheduling, filings, emails).
- Draft and produce contracts, complaints, demand letters, opinions, and other legal documents.
- Protect client information and maintain confidentiality.
- Assemble legal materials and summarize information and evidence.
- Track time using standard law firm billing practices.
