Job description

We seeking a motivated Florida-licensed Associate Attorney to join our growing practice.

This opportunity is ideal for an early-career attorney with approximately 1–2 years of experience who wants to develop a broad legal practice and gain meaningful responsibility rather than being limited to a narrowly defined role.

The Associate Attorney will work alongside experienced attorneys on a combination of business, real estate, transactional and civil litigation matters. The position provides substantial opportunity for direct client contact, hands-on legal work and increasing responsibility as the attorney develops.

Responsibilities

The Associate Attorney's responsibilities may include:

  • Handling business and commercial legal matters
  • Assisting with residential and commercial real estate matters
  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts and agreements
  • Assisting with business formations and general corporate matters
  • Handling civil, commercial, real estate and contract disputes
  • Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery and legal memoranda

Qualifications

Candidates should have:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  • Active membership in good standing with The Florida Bar
  • Approximately 1–2 years of legal experience
  • Strong legal research, writing and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines
  • Professional and confident client communication skills
  • A practical, solutions-oriented approach to legal matters
  • Desire to develop experience across both transactional and litigation matters

Experience in civil litigation, business law, real estate, commercial transactions, contracts or related practice areas is preferred but not required for an otherwise strong candidate.
