Job summary

WR Immigration in Boston seeks an experienced Associate Attorney to join our global immigration team. You will lead client communications, coordinate with support staff, and oversee preparation and filing of business-related visa petitions.

You will work closely with Partners and Legal Assistants across time zones; 5+ years’ experience in business immigration, strong writing and organizational skills are essential; remote candidates are welcome with preference for Mountain or Pacific Time Zones.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of business immigration experience.
• Bar membership in good standing.
• Broad nonimmigrant visa knowledge including H-1B, L-1, E-2, O-1, TN, E-3, J-1.
• Knowledge of employment-based permanent residence: PERM, EB-1/EB-2/EB-1C, NIW.
• Experience handling RFEs, NOIDs, and complex issues.
• Experience advising startups and smaller clients on immigration strategy.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Attention to detail and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and communicating options to address clients’ business immigration needs
• Maintaining timely and accurate lines of communications with clients both during and after the application process to provide support with immigration program management and compliance
• Supervising and collaborating with supporting staff to ensure that applications are prepared and filed correctly
• Maintaining accuracy for high volume, rapid turnover cases
• Assisting clients and staff with questions throughout the filing process
• Other duties as required
