Job summary

This remote role is open to applicants authorized to work in the United States as a Project Status Worker with an end date of March 31, 2027. You will collaborate with editors, authors, and vendors to ensure standards compliance and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Education with a focus in Chemistry.
• 3+ years of experience in educational publishing and/or significant editorial experience.
• Experience with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) is required.
• Experience writing and editing instructional materials for science classrooms is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop high-quality instructional materials for digital and print products.
• Research educational trends, standards, content and competitive products.
• Produce scientifically sound content that is accurate and curriculum-aligned.
• Prepare manuscripts with readability and grade-appropriate level per specs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet workflows, schedules and goals.
• Communicate project requirements to authors, consultants, vendors and editors.
