Job summary

Berklee College of Music is seeking an Assistant Graphic Designer to manage and tag graphics in Berklee’s Air CMS and create course graphics using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. You will deliver assets via Google Drive and collaborate weekly on workload and deadlines.

The role requires an artistic background, a portfolio, and familiarity with Google tools and Berklee design guidelines. Remote position with flexible hours; 5 hours per week for meetings plus remaining hours for independent work.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate has some artistic experience or knowledge of graphic design including digital art, logo design, vector icons, or typography.
• Please include a portfolio of past work to be considered.
• Must be familiar with using Google tools (calendar, email, sheets and drive).
• Follow Berklee design guidelines and file formats (png, jpg, svg, pdf).

Responsibilities

• Tag and manage graphic assets in Berklee’s Air CMS for easy reuse in courses.
• Use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create course graphics.
• Create a range of graphics from simple line graphs to diagrams and vector icons.
• Deliver graphics via Google Drive with correct file formats and naming conventions.
• Attend weekly meetings during business hours to discuss workload, deadlines, and edits.
