Job summary

Affordable Dentures & Implants is seeking an experienced Assistant General Counsel to join its in-house team. This fully remote role serves nationwide dental practices and reports to the General Counsel, offering broad autonomy and high-level business exposure across regulatory, privacy, and commercial matters.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) or LL.B. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. State Bar.
• Ability to satisfy in-house counsel registration/authorization requirements.
• 4–6+ years of relevant attorney experience, including contracts, healthcare, marketing, or data privacy matters.

Responsibilities

• Advise executive leadership, business partners, and affiliated dental practices on healthcare regulatory matters, including HIPAA and AKS.
• Provide guidance on data privacy, cybersecurity, and information security, including HIPAA, state privacy laws, incident response, and vendor diligence.
• Review marketing, advertising, and consumer protection materials and advise on claims, disclosures, and patient testimonials.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts with affiliated practices, vendors, and partners.
• Support corporate matters including entity formation, affiliations, and acquisitions, and manage outside counsel relationships.
