Job summary

American College of Education (ACE) is seeking an Assistant Director, Student Experience & Operations to lead the student lifecycle from strategy through execution. You will oversee student operations, drive process improvements, and partner with IT and product teams to implement scalable solutions that boost student success.

The role requires strong leadership, expertise in CRM/SIS systems, and a track record of transforming operations in a remote environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required, preferably in Higher Education, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in higher education supporting the student lifecycle across operations, technology, or student services.
• 5+ years of experience leading teams and managing people leaders.
• Significant experience with Microsoft CRM, Anthology, Canvas, or similar enterprise platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across the student lifecycle.
• Oversee student operations initiatives and establish operational standards.
• Partner with executive leadership, Product Owners, and IT to define and prioritize enhancements.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve efficiency, scalability, and student satisfaction.
• Ensure agile processes align with lifecycle objectives and technology enablement.
