Job summary

Columbia Home Services, a rapidly expanding home services platform backed by private equity, seeks an experienced Assistant Controller to manage accounting operations for the corporate unit and 4–6 operating companies.

Reporting to the Corporate Controller and CFO, you will drive GAAP-compliant financial reporting, close processes, intercompany accounting, and internal controls while partnering with executives to support growth through acquisitions and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7+ years progressive accounting experience with GAAP.
• 2+ years as Assistant Controller or Senior Accountant in PE-backed or multi-entity env.

Responsibilities

• Own accounting and financial reporting for corporate unit and 4–6 operating companies.
• Prepare month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, analyses.
• Standardize close processes and strengthen internal controls.
• Assist with audits, intercompany, payroll, revenue recognition, cash processing.
