Job summary

Pinion is seeking an Assistant Controller on the PAS team to coordinate with bookkeepers, controllers, tax, and A&A to deliver timely, accurate client financial deliverables.

This role blends hands-on accounting with project leadership and meaningful client interaction, supervising 2–4 bookkeepers, driving process improvements, and partnering with leadership across reporting, close, and systems to support client success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 3 to 5 years of accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with financial reporting.
• Supervisory or team lead experience valued.
• Experience with agricultural clients is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate client data and deliverables with client service focus.
• Review financial statements and support monthly, quarterly, and annual closes.
• Supervise 2–4 bookkeepers and mentor staff.
• Develop standardized accounting processes and templates.
• Support accounting systems and troubleshoot issues.
