A leading health care management company is seeking an Assistant Controller to oversee financial statements reporting in compliance with GAAP and manage year-end audit processes. The role includes generating cash basis financial statements and preparing tax filings. This remote position offers a competitive salary between $160,000 and $190,000 per year.

Qualifications

• BA/CPA with 7+ years of related experience.
• Solid understanding of U.S. tax code.
• Strong knowledge of partnership tax.
• Health care industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assure that all accounting is done in accordance with GAAP.
• Create and maintain a system of internal controls.
• Oversee the daily operation of AP and AR team.
• Generate GAAP basis entity financial statements.
• Convert GAAP basis statements to cash basis.
• Present financial information to CFO.
• Prepare special reports on financial trends.
• Assist Controller in reviewing tax returns.
• Comply with all legal requirements.
