Job summary

International SOS is seeking an experienced Assistance Nurse to provide expert medical guidance and coordinate care for travellers, ensuring safe, cost-effective solutions in line with duty of care standards. This role offers global impact and the opportunity to work with a multinational team.

You will manage medical cases, coordinate transport, and advise patients across borders. Fluency in Italian and English, RN certification, and emergency/ICU experience are required; remote work from Italy

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with acute, emergency or intensive care experience.
• Fluency in English and Italian is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage medical cases for travellers abroad – assess calls, gather clinical details, and provide clear, professional advice.
• Coordinate care and transport – work with global teams to arrange treatment or other support as needed.
• Guide patients and clients – ensure safe, cost-effective decisions aligned with policy and duty of care.
• Collaborate globally – liaise with Assistance Centres, treating physicians, and claims teams for seamless case progression
