Job summary

Tactex Recruiting Advisors is sourcing an Asset Management Associate for a Commercial Real Estate Investment Firm. The role focuses on driving asset performance across portfolios, managing leasing and disposition projects from inception to finish, and delivering analyses to inform leadership decisions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in CRE asset management or related fields, strong leasing knowledge, and proven financial modeling and project leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in commercial real estate asset management, acquisitions, development, portfolio management, real estate finance, or related field.
• Experience negotiating leases, managing sale transactions, or real estate development.
• Strong knowledge of commercial leasing including market analysis, lease underwriting, clause negotiation, deal structuring, and broker relationships.
• Experience managing financial and operational performance of CRE assets.
• Strong financial analysis and modeling skills (NPV, NER, sell vs hold, budgets, forecasts, cash flows).
• Strong project management, communication, and relationship management skills; able to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Bachelor-level qualification as listed above; direct applicable experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Drive asset performance across assigned portfolios and oversee leasing and disposition projects from inception to finish.
• Translate financial and market data into clear recommendations for leadership.
• Assist in transaction project management and monitor deal timelines and deliverables.
• Prepare market research and evaluate financial models (cashflow, NPV, buyout, disposition, sell vs hold).
• Support cross-departmental asset initiatives with Operations and Property Management.
• Coordinate with property managers, brokers, tenants, analysts, and legal counsel to ensure accountability.
• Ensure compliance with landlord obligations and deliverables on new leases and dispositions.
