Job summary
Stride, Inc. is seeking an Assessment Measurement Specialist to provide applied psychometrics expertise for K12 assessment programs and related initiatives.
The role involves reviewing growth and interim assessments, evaluating scoring methodologies, and informing renewal decisions. You will analyze results for patterns, assess reliability and validity, and translate technical findings for nontechnical audiences across teams.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Psychometrics, Educational Measurement, Quantitative Psychology, Applied Statistics, Research Methods, or related field.
- 8+ years of psychometrics or educational measurement experience.
- Experience reviewing vendor technical documentation and informing assessment selection or renewal.
- Ability to translate complex statistical findings for nontechnical audiences.
- Experience evaluating reliability and validity of assessment results.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychometric expertise for K12 assessment programs and initiatives.
- Review and compare interim and growth assessment options; evaluate fit for intended use.
- Support review of assessment results and identify unusual score changes or patterns.
- Evaluate reliability, validity, and data quality of assessment results.
- Develop documentation and guidance to support interpretation of results.
