The Assessment Measurement Specialist is an applied psychometrician who provides measurement expertise in support of K12's assessment programs and assessment-related initiatives. This role conducts technical analyses of assessment quality and performance, evaluates the relationships and comparability among interim, growth, and state assessments, and provides technical recommendations that inform assessment selection, renewal, and use. The Assessment Measurement Specialist supports SPM/CAMP by reviewing assessment results for unusual patterns, conducting targeted technical reviews of flagged results, and identifying data or methodological limitations that affect how results should be interpreted. This role develops technical documentation and guidance to support consistent, appropriate interpretation of assessment results across the organization, and partners closely with Assessment, Accountability, Academics, Research, and Data teams to translate technical findings for nontechnical audiences.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
This role operates primarily in a remote or office environment and routinely uses standard office and computing equipment. Travel requirements are noted above and should be confirmed with the hiring manager.
Stride, Inc. considers a person's education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position's work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee's salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position's level and expected contribution, and the employee's benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range. We anticipate the salary range to be $81,045.75 - $125,000.00 per year. The upper end of this range is not likely to be offered, as an individual's compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Eligible employees may receive a bonus.
