Job summary

The Hartford Steam Boiler (HSB), a Munich Re subsidiary, seeks a Supervisor Code Services in Dallas to oversee day‑to‑day inspector and client activities and provide ASME/NB technical and administrative support. The role supports sales and marketing activities, develops staff, and ensures compliance with ASME Code and other mandatory standards in training, inspection, documentation and auditing.

Preferred candidates hold a BS in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology and have NB

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• BS Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology preferred; Munich Re Academy courses in management and leadership preferred.
• Preferred 4 to 6 years experience as a commissioned Authorized Inspector, with extensive nuclear or non-nuclear exposure.
• Prerequisite education and 2 years experience as an AI or ANI to obtain NB Commission with "B" and/or "NS" Endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage day-to-day assigned inspector and client activities.
• Provide ASME/NB technical and administrative support to staff and clients.
• Support and implement sales and marketing activities.
• Support corporate technical and administrative initiatives.
• Develop staff and support all USIG service offerings.
• Ensure compliance with ASME Code and other mandatory standards in training, inspection, documentation and auditing.
