Job summary

Sway Creative Labs is seeking an Art Director to shepherd ideas from sketch to multi-channel realization. You’ll lead creative direction, present concepts to clients, and build scalable Figma templates for web, social, display, and print.

You’ll manage high-volume rollouts, collaborate with producers and developers, and guide teams through an AI-augmented workflow. Remote-first with occasional in-person collaboration near Norfolk.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of art direction experience at an agency or comparable environment.
• Portfolio showing original concepts and multi-channel scaling.
• Deep proficiency in Figma: components, variants, auto-layout, and variables.
• Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
• Hands-on use of Claude or other AI tools for concepting and scale; good judgment on what to automate.

Responsibilities

• Lead concept development on integrated campaigns across channels.
• Present and defend visual direction to clients and teams.
• Create scalable template systems in Figma for rapid production.
• Direct high-volume rollouts including display, social, and print assets.
• Direct shoots and craft pre-production materials when needed.
