Job summary

Baylor University invites applications for a full-time, remote Clinical Assistant Professor in Architecture to teach in its inaugural Master of Architecture (M.Arch) program. The candidate will develop and teach design studios and core lecture courses while advancing program development and student engagement.

This 12-month, non-tenure-track position requires periodic travel to Waco, TX for in-person Immersions and course development.

Qualifications

• Commitment to innovative teaching in architecture.
• Ability to contribute to M.Arch program development and accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and teach design studios and core courses (graduate-level design studio, site and programming, building systems, portfolio workshops, electives).
• Support academic services and program accreditation, and other efforts to grow the program.
• Engage with students to promote meaningful learning within a faith-informed community.
