Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an ArcGIS/Geospatial Specialist for our partner in the United States, a federal government environment. This fully remote role administers ArcGIS Enterprise, ensures reliability, and drives modernization across environments.

You will collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, development, and GIS teams to upgrade platforms, monitor performance, automate workflows, and maintain secure, scalable geospatial services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS or related technical field.
• 5+ years in GIS systems admin/related role.
• Experience administering Esri ArcGIS Enterprise environments.
• Experience configuring, publishing, maintaining GIS services and datasets.
• Experience automating geospatial workflows and data management.
• Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise upgrades and validation.
• Strong understanding of enterprise GIS architecture and integrations.
• Ability to monitor and resolve GIS performance and reliability issues.
• Familiarity with scripting/automation in GIS environments.
• Strong documentation and change-management practices.

Responsibilities

• Administer ArcGIS Enterprise environments (ArcGIS Server, services, datasets).
• Automate publications, data refreshes, and workflows across environments.
• Plan and execute ArcGIS Enterprise upgrades with testing and rollback.
• Deploy geospatial admin tools and utilities.
• Conduct load testing and performance tuning; capacity planning.
• Support platform observability and integration with monitoring tools.
• Contribute to modernization assessments for cloud-based GIS (AWS/EKS).
• Collaborate across infrastructure, cloud, development, and GIS teams.
