Job summary

Ardent is seeking an ArcGIS/Geospatial Specialist to support enterprise geospatial systems and modernization initiatives in a federal government environment. The role focuses on administering ArcGIS Enterprise environments, automating workflows, and ensuring reliability across GIS services.

Responsibilities include upgrades, monitoring, and collaboration with infrastructure and development teams. A strong GIS background with ArcGIS Server and automation scripting is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in GIS, CS, IT, geography or engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in GIS systems administration or related roles.
• Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise environments and ArcGIS Server.
• Experience with enterprise GIS services, datasets, and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and maintain ArcGIS Enterprise environments and services.
• Automate ArcGIS publication and data refresh workflows across environments.
• Plan, test, and document ArcGIS Enterprise upgrades and validation.
• Deploy and maintain geospatial admin tools (GeoJobe, CleanMyOrg).
• Perform ArcGIS Server load testing and capacity planning.
• Support service health dashboards and observability integrations.
• Collaborate on modernization efforts for ArcGIS Enterprise on AWS/EKS and cloud infra.
