Job summary

The Unconventional is seeking a qualified Language Instructor to support the Language Enabled Airman Program (LEAP). This role involves administering eMentor courses, which are tailored to enhance service members' language skills and cultural knowledge. Instructors will prepare materials and provide specialized one-on-one instruction aligned with mission-relevant objectives.

Applicants must have advanced proficiency in the target language and a bachelor's degree in a related field with experience in instructional design and methods. This part-time position supports a global audience, operating virtually.

Qualifications

• Must possess language skills equivalent to an ILR Advanced Professional Proficiency.
• Must hold at least a bachelor’s level degree in language instruction or a related field.
• Must be capable of delivering instruction across proficiency levels ranging from ILR level 0 through ILR Level 3+.

Responsibilities

• Administer the eMentor curricula provided by the Client.
• Prepare instructional aids and supporting materials for each session.
• Deliver instruction aligned with lesson objectives and plans.

Skills

Language skills equivalent to ILR Advanced Professional Proficiency

Extensive knowledge of foreign language teaching techniques
