Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Examines denied and other non-paid claims to determine reasons for discrepancies.
• Communicates with payers to follow up on outstanding claims, files appeals, resolves payment variances, and ensures timely reimbursement.
• Identifies root causes of underpayments and trends; collaborates with management to address them.
• Maintains knowledge of federal/state regulations and payer-specific requirements; documents activity in client systems.
• Demonstrates initiative, problem solving, and willingness to use innovative tools.
