Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an Accounts Receivable Resolution Specialist for a fully remote, full-time position based in the United States. You will manage complex AR cases, review denied claims, and submit appeals using WAYSTAR to accelerate payments, collaborating with billing teams, providers, and insurers to improve collections outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent.
• 2+ years in insurance claims follow-up.
• 2+ years in claims denial management.
• 5+ years in physician or healthcare facility business office.
• 1+ year remote experience.
• Strong knowledge of insurance billing, follow-up, appeals, reimbursement and denial resolution.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication with insurers, patients, providers, and internal teams.
• Good judgment with proactive problem-solving.
• Ability to meet productivity expectations and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee complex claims resolution activities and strengthen collection processes.
• Follow up on assigned accounts daily to reduce AR and accelerate reimbursement.
• Review denied claims and identify resolution strategies, including authorizations and precertifications.
• Prepare and submit appeal letters and payer documentation through WAYSTAR.
• Document actions and progress using standard note formats in Avatar and WAYSTAR.
• Meet departmental productivity and performance requirements.
• Communicate issues and recommendations to leadership using SBAR format.
• Assist billing teams with handling incoming mail and correspondence.
• Troubleshoot technology issues and escalate as needed.
