Job summary

Infinx is seeking a Revenue Cycle Specialist to work remotely or in a hybrid setup in New Orleans, LA. You will handle the full lifecycle of claims, from eligibility verification to AR follow-up, billing edits, and direct payer submissions, while working natively in client EHR and billing systems.

Ideal candidates have extensive revenue cycle experience across eligibility, demographics, billing, and denial management, with Medicare/FISS experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; CRCR/CRCS preferred.
• 3–5 years in hospital/physician revenue cycle across 2 focus areas.
• 6+ years cross-functional revenue cycle experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience submitting claims directly to payers.
• Experience with Medicare FISS/DDE direct submission preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred for patient-facing work.

Responsibilities

• Manage eligibility, demographics, billing, edits, AR follow-up, and denial management.
• Verify coverage via payer portals, EDI 270/271, and direct outreach; document benefits.
• Determine COB payer order; identify Medicare Secondary Payer scenarios.
• Flag prior authorization needs and route appropriately.
• Submit clean claims directly to payers using client EHR/billing systems.
• Resolve front-end edits, scrubs, and pre-submission errors at source system.
