Pro-Tops, Inc. is expanding its finance team and is ready to hire an experienced billing and accounts receivable leader who will own the full AR and billing function.

This fully remote role will report to senior leadership and provide a clear voice in decisions as the company grows across the Carolinas. You will manage invoicing, collections, aging, and month-end activities, forecasting AR and cash flow, and you will develop and maintain SOPs, training materials, and workflow documentation while

Qualifications

• Five or more years of Accounts Receivable or billing experience, including supervisory or lead responsibility.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel; construction, fabrication, or project-based billing experience is a strong plus.
• Solid knowledge of invoicing, collections, aging management, and month-end close.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to improve processes and lead a team.
• A dependable home office with reliable high-speed internet and availability during Eastern Time business hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily Accounts Receivable and billing operation across Retail, Commercial, Cabinets, Builder Relations, and Design Studio accounts.
• Manage invoicing, collections, aging, and month-end activities, and ensure billing accuracy before invoices reach customers.
• Prepare Accounts Receivable forecasts and give leadership clear visibility into cash flow.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, training materials, and workflow documentation.
• Train, coach, and mentor Accounts Receivable team members and support their growth.
• Manage the billing lifecycle for Commercial Projects, including lien waivers, and coordinate collections.
• Partner across Accounting, Sales, Order Entry, Installers, Warranty, and Commercial Operations to keep billing accurate and on time.
