Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to join our in-house venture studio, building AI-powered features across multiple early-stage projects. You will prototype quickly and contribute to both front-end dashboards and backend systems as you validate opportunities.

You should have strong Python and AI/ML framework experience, plus backend and frontend prototyping skills. This remote-friendly role offers equity and collaboration with serial founders and engineers.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python and AI/ML frameworks.
• Strong backend knowledge: databases, caching, queues, microservices.
• Experience with zero-to-one product development in startups.
• Ability to prototype front-end tools and dashboards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; remote team.

Responsibilities

• Build core AI-powered features across in-house ventures.
