Job summary

BJAK is seeking applied AI engineers to build AI-native systems for their AI Neobank app. This remote role is based in the United States and focuses on turning manual workflows into scalable AI-powered processes.

You will work with product and engineering teams to design, prototype and productionize AI solutions that automate workflows across support, CRM, onboarding and operations, leveraging LLMs and data integrations.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering foundation with Python backend experience.
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, agents, RAG and workflow automation.
• Ability to connect AI systems with real product, data and workflows.
• Good judgment on where AI helps vs. rule-based or human review.
• Awareness of evaluation, latency, cost, privacy and failure modes.
• Fast builder able to prototype, test and ship practical systems.
• Fintech/insurance or CRM/operations automation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build AI-powered workflows, assistants, agents and automation systems.
• Apply AI across customer support, CRM, onboarding, claims, renewals, payments, operations and internal tools.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to scale manual processes into AI-native systems.
• Create integrations with LLMs, data sources, APIs, docs and business systems.
• Design evaluation, monitoring and fallback flows to keep AI outputs safe and reliable.
• Prototype quickly, test with users, then productionize successful approaches.
• Improve speed, quality and consistency across workflows using AI.
