Job summary

JBT Marel in the United States (Tennessee) is seeking a DSI Applications Engineer to work with poultry processing customers on site and remotely as needed.

You will gather requirements on client lines, assess processes, and tailor the DSI portioning software; you will measure data, analyze trends, and report results while coordinating customer visits and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering, Food Science, Poultry Science, or Meat Science.
• 1+ years of experience with computers, software, and robotics concepts.
• The ability to translate customer requirements into practical applications.
• You must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Gather and prioritize customer requirements on site, assess customer production lines, and provide feedback for process improvement.
• Locate necessary information and resources, explore options, identify a solution, and manipulate the portioning system software to meet the customer's needs.
• Measure data, analyze trends, and communicate results. The applications engineer coordinates customer visits based on department priorities and strategic programs.
