Job summary

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking an Applications Developer for the Office of Information Technology, Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board. You will design and build software solutions to support critical operations and improve user experience.

The role involves technical leadership, architecture planning, and security integration, with potential telework options. Full-time schedule is 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Mon–Fri, based in Harrisburg with possible remote work within Pennsylvania.

Qualifications

• One year of IT experience in applications development and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or
• Three years of IT experience with an associate’s degree, or
• Five years of IT experience in applications development and/or business process analysis.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business needs and design system requirements for complex applications.
• Lead development activities and coordinate tasks on major system initiatives.
• Build, test, debug, and maintain application code per technical standards.
