Job summary

Project Kitty Hawk, Inc. is seeking an Application Specialist to guide adult learners through admissions and degree completion at partner UNC System universities. You’ll advise on admissions requirements, assist with applications, and help students start classes smoothly.

With a bachelor’s degree and at least one year in online higher education, you’ll analyze data to improve conversions, maintain confidential files, and coordinate with universities to ensure high-quality student service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 1 year of experience in higher education with adult online learners.
• Knowledge of adult learners' needs in higher education.
• Experience with CRM, LMS, and SIS platforms in online higher education.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for and guide students through application processes for partner universities.
• Manage student files and ensure they are informed and clear on admissions expectations.
• Assist students in assessing readiness for classes and connect to relevant resources for enrollment.
• Conduct discovery sessions to identify goals and map a success plan, monitoring progress.
