Job summary

Project Kitty Hawk is seeking an Application Specialist to guide adult learners through admissions and degree completion across partner UNC System universities. You’ll manage student files, run discovery sessions, and connect learners with the right programs and resources for a smooth start to their studies.

You will analyze data to boost conversions, maintain confidentiality, and collaborate with universities to uphold high service standards while supporting flexible, remote work options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 1 year in higher education with online adult students.
• Knowledge of FERPA and student privacy requirements.
• Experience with CRM, LMS, and SIS platforms.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for and guide students through application processes.
• Manage student files and ensure admissions expectations are clear.
• Assess readiness for classes and connect students to enrollment resources.
• Conduct discovery sessions to map educational goals and create a success roadmap.
• Analyze data to support students and improve conversion rates.
• Ensure confidentiality and proper documentation of student information.
• Collaborate with universities to uphold high service standards.
• Engage in professional development and industry networking.
