Job summary
ESPO Corporation is hiring an Application Development Manager for the Flexibles Division to serve as the main technical contact between customers and the company. This role oversees development and technical service at assigned accounts, driving cost-effective, safe, and sustainable packaging solutions that meet customer needs.
The ideal candidate should have strong material science knowledge, experience in new product development for flexible packaging, and solid project management and customer
Qualifications
- Strong material science knowledge across films and laminations.
- Experience in new product development for flexible packaging.
- Proven project management and customer relationship skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical activities to expand sales of flexible packaging structures.
- Coordinate pilot, production, and filling/packing trials.
- Develop manufacturing instructions from customer requirements.
- Publish trial reports for internal/external use.
- Travel domestically and internationally to plants, suppliers, customers, and conferences.
- Provide routine technical service and maintain records including IP documentation.
