Job summary

DuPont is seeking an innovative engineer specializing in lubrication and tribology to translate customer wear and friction challenges into advanced specialty lubricant solutions. The role involves collaboration with regional and global R&D teams, and frequent travel within the Americas.

The ideal candidate has 5 years of related experience, strong communication skills, and fluency in English and Spanish (Portuguese a plus). This is a 100% remote position with travel requirements.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering or hard science (Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical) preferred.
• CLGS or CLS certifications are a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• 5 years of experience in lubrication or tribology.
• Fluent in Spanish and English; Portuguese a plus.
• Ability to travel up to 50% within the Americas.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers to identify needs and translate into test designs or product solutions.
• Deliver product and technology training to customers and channel partners.
• Lead or participate as a core member of engineering or product commercialization teams.
• Support development of new or modified products to meet customer and market needs.
• Learn and understand various industry standards and test methods.
• Develop expertise with specialty test equipment for lubricants and collaborate with global tribologists.
• Explore low friction coatings and advanced lubricants to create value-added solutions.
• Participate in multi-function teams to deliver on priorities.
• Travel to customers and within the Americas (~50%).
