The role requires a DoD Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one, 5+ years of QA experience, and hands-on Appian testing across interfaces, integrations, and authentication flows. Remote work is available for eligible U.S. residents.

Qualifications

• Minimum DoD Secret clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one.
• 5+ years of software testing/QA experience.
• Hands-on testing of Appian applications (workflows, integrations, UI).
• Experience with secure federal cloud environments (AGC/ADC/FedRAMP/DoD).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and Jira/ServiceNow/Azure DevOps.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed test plans, cases, and scripts from requirements and security constraints.
• Perform functional, regression, system integration, accessibility, and end-to-end testing for Appian apps in AGC/ADC.
• Validate Appian objects: interfaces, records, expression rules, process models, and data types.
• Test Appian integrations, APIs, and secure authentication flows (SAML, CAC, PKI).
• Verify compliance with USCG policies, NIST, FedRAMP, and DoD security guidelines.
• Document defects and track resolutions through change management processes.
• Participate in UAT and FAT with Coast Guard stakeholders.
• Support Agile ceremonies and monitor testing coverage in cloud environments.
• Ensure tests and documentation meet USCG QA, security, and CM standards.
