Job summary

Atlas Technologies, Inc. is seeking a skilled QA Tester with Appian expertise to support mission-critical Coast Guard applications in AGC/ADC environments. This remote role requires a DoD Secret level clearance or the ability to obtain one and involves testing across functional, regression, and security domains.

You will develop test plans, validate Appian objects, and ensure compliance with NIST, FedRAMP, and DoD guidelines while coordinating with Coast Guard stakeholders and agile teams.

Qualifications

• DoD Secret clearance (or ability to obtain)
• Minimum 5 years in software testing/QA
• Hands-on testing of Appian apps including workflows and interfaces
• Experience in secure federal cloud environments (AGC/ADC, FedRAMP, DoD)
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and tools like Jira/ServiceNow/Azure DevOps
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and documentation skills
• Ability to operate in compliance-driven security testing environments
• Bachelor-level degree in CS/IS/Engineering or related field

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans, cases, and scripts based on Appian requirements and security constraints
• Conduct functional, regression, system integration, accessibility and end-to-end testing
• Validate Appian objects: interfaces, records, expression rules, process models, data types
• Test Appian integrations, APIs, and secure authentication flows (SAML, CAC, PKI)
• Verify compliance with USCG cybersecurity, NIST, FedRAMP, and DoD guidelines
• Evaluate logging, auditing, escalation paths, and exception workflows
• Identify defects and track resolutions through change management
• Participate in UAT and FAT with Coast Guard stakeholders
• Support Agile ceremonies and improve testing coverage in cloud environments
• Ensure all testing docs meet USCG QA, security, and CM standards
