Job summary

Atlas Technologies, Inc. is seeking a skilled QA Tester to support Appian applications within AGC/ADC environments for Coast Guard missions.

You will design tests, perform functional and security-focused testing, and ensure compliance with federal standards. The role is fully remote for residents in eligible states and requires 5+ years of QA experience, DoD security clearance, and strong knowledge of Appian testing and Agile tools.

Qualifications

• DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain and maintain one.
• At least 5 years of software testing or QA experience.
• Hands-on testing of Appian applications (workflows, integrations, UI).
• Experience testing in secure federal cloud environments (AGC/ADC/FedRAMP/DoD).
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum and tools like Jira, ServiceNow, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on Appian requirements and security constraints.
• Conduct functional, regression, system integration, accessibility, and end-to-end testing for Appian apps in AGC or ADC environments.
• Validate Appian objects including interfaces, records, expression rules, process models, and data types.
• Test Appian integrations, APIs, secure authentication flows (SAML, CAC, PKI).
• Verify compliance with USCG cybersecurity policies, NIST standards, FedRAMP, and DoD IL4/IL5 guidelines.
• Evaluate logging, auditing, escalation paths, and exception-handling workflows.
• Identify defects, document issues clearly, and track resolutions through change management.
• Participate in UAT/FAT with Coast Guard stakeholders to validate requirements and workflows.
• Support Agile ceremonies and monitor regression impacts.
• Ensure all testing results meet USCG quality, security, and CM standards.
