Job summary

Atlas Technologies, Inc. is seeking a skilled QA Tester to support Appian applications in AGC/ADC environments, ensuring functional accuracy and compliance with federal security standards.

The role supports Coast Guard mission systems with comprehensive test planning and execution. You will develop detailed test artifacts, perform end-to-end testing, validate Appian objects, and coordinate with stakeholders on UAT/FAT while adhering to agile practices and security requirements.

Qualifications

• DoD Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Minimum 5 years of software testing or QA experience.
• Hands-on testing of Appian applications including workflows and interfaces.
• Experience with secure federal cloud environments (AGC/ADC, FedRAMP).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, or Azure DevOps.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans, cases, and scripts based on requirements and security constraints.
• Conduct functional, regression, system integration, accessibility, and end-to-end testing of Appian apps in AGC/ADC.
• Validate Appian objects: interfaces, records, rules, models, data types, documents, and security.
• Test Appian integrations, APIs, and secure authentication flows including SAML and PKI.
• Verify compliance with USCG, NIST, FedRAMP, and DoD security guidelines.
• Evaluate logging, auditing, escalation paths, and exception-handling workflows.
• Identify defects, document issues, and track resolutions through change management.
• Participate in UAT and FAT with Coast Guard stakeholders; support Agile ceremonies.
• Monitor regression impacts and improve testing coverage in controlled clouds.
• Ensure testing results meet USCG QA, security, and CM standards.
