Job summary

VetsEZ seeks an Appian Integration Developer for a 100% remote role supporting a large federal government healthcare modernization project. Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Appian BPM and VA source systems via RESTful and SOAP APIs, web services, and microservices.

The role collaborates with technical leads, developers, architects, QA, and DevSecOps in an Agile environment to manage integration architecture and lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, MIS or related field.
• 2+ years in IT, Appian delivery or integration.
• 2+ years designing REST and SOAP services and integrations.
• 2+ years with Java, J2EE, SQL, and app servers (Tomcat/WebLogic/JBoss/IIS).
• Experience with AWS GovCloud and DevSecOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to manage integration architecture, specifications, and interface requirements.
• Lead design and development of system and data integrations between VA systems and Appian BPM platform.
• Develop secure connections to external systems using REST, SOAP, JDBC, SMTP, and related tech.
• Integrate Appian with microservices, databases, legacy systems, and file-transfer processes.
• Develop and maintain Appian plug-ins, middleware, web services, and AWS GovCloud deployments.
• Create and maintain Integration Control Documents and interface diagrams.
