Job summary

Veterans EZ Info Inc. is seeking an Appian Integration Developer for a 100% remote role supporting a large federal government healthcare modernization project.

The specialist designs, develops, and maintains integrations between the Appian platform and VA source systems using RESTful and SOAP APIs, microservices, and database/file-processing solutions. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, MIS, or related technical discipline and at least two years of IT experience.
• At least two years of Appian delivery and plug-in development experience.
• Proven ability to design and implement REST and SOAP web services and integrations with microservices.
• Strong Java/J2EE, XML, XSLT, HTML, CSS, SQL, and application servers (e.g., JBoss, WebLogic, IIS, Tomcat).
• Experience with AWS services (Lambda, Step Functions, S3, CloudWatch, EC2, ECS) and GitHub.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps, IAM tech (SAML, Kerberos, OAuth, LDAP) and Agile delivery.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project lead to manage integration architecture and interface requirements.
• Lead design and development of integrations between VA source systems and Appian BPM platform.
• Develop secure connections using REST, SOAP, JDBC, SMTP, CMIS, JMS, and Web APIs.
• Integrate Appian with microservices, databases, legacy systems, and file-transfer processes.
• Develop and maintain Appian plug-ins, middleware, and web services in AWS GovCloud.
• Create and maintain Integration Control Documents and architecture diagrams.
