Job summary

Blu Omega LLC is seeking a fully remote Appian Developer to support a federal Air Force modernization initiative. The role focuses on translating business needs into scalable Appian solutions on AWS, covering process models, UIs, business rules, integrations, records, forms, and reports.

Responsibilities include delivering user stories each sprint, designing documentation, and collaborating with data and testing teams to ensure quality, while operating within East Coast business hours.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of hands-on Appian development experience.
• Experience with Appian process models, integrations, and UIs.
• Ability to own and deliver user stories independently.
• Translate requirements into design documentation.
• Knowledge of Appian APIs and backend integration patterns.
• Familiar with Agile software delivery, including sprints and standups.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Air Force CAC.
• Physical presence in the United States.
• Availability during East Coast business hours.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver assigned user stories during each sprint.
• Create design documentation, participate in reviews, and implement solutions.
• Develop Appian features iteratively for system modernization.
• Coordinate with the data team on data models and backend requirements.
• Collaborate with testers for feature validation.
• Participate in daily standups and team ceremonies.
• Work semi-independently while contributing to team efforts.
